#VPNs are essential in the #cybersecurity industry, providing a layer of protection and privacy by encrypting network connections and ensuring the integrity of transmitted data.
However, today’s VPNs face the significant threat of advancing quantum computing, which could compromise the security of traditional cryptographic algorithms used in these systems.
To address this challenge, a hybrid solution is proposed that combines the simplicity and speed of the open source WireGuard software with post-quantum algorithms.
This integration seeks to maintain the speed, efficiency and ease of use of #WireGuard, while incorporating cryptographic methods resistant against attacks that can be implemented by quantum computers.
